polarization filters offer two key advantages that lead to noticeably better and
longer-lasting performance of the aiming eye. Light oscillations ("flicker") can be filtered so that only
specific oscillation directions pass
through the polarizing filter
- By engaging a polarizing filter in which special quartz crystals are embedded, the so-called reflex rays are eliminated
- By switching on the second polarizing filter, the position of the quartz crystals relative to each other can be changed so that they achieve a 10 to 90%, continuous, light absorption (changed brightness)
- Can be used as an iris only
- Locking collar allows precise location of the V-mark
- Internal surfaces are matt black, reducing light reflection to a minimum
- Clear settings at either end of the adjustment range for use as either iris or polarisation only
